Real road distance, addresses and routes for a delivery company.
PalEat prices deliveries and finds riders by real road distance, not a straight line. We integrated MapHero across the backend, the dashboard and both customer apps: address autocomplete, reverse geocoding, route distance and time, multi-stop routes for the ops map, and delivery-zone polygons.

The challenge
Palestinian addresses are landmarks, not street numbers. The map layer had to understand them and price a delivery in the time it takes to tap a button.
What we did
A provider interface in the backend so MapHero and an in-house provider are interchangeable. The web SDK in the dashboard for live tracking and area drawing. When MapHero's dispatch only re-sorted a list we already had, we brought rider ranking in-house and kept the rest.
The outcome
Live in PalEat since November 2025 for routing, geocoding and maps, with 843 landmarks and 26 areas mapped.
